The Stuka was both a dive-bomber and ground attack aircraft

The aircraft was easily recognisable by its inverted gull wings and fixed spatted undercarriage.

On it's main gear legs were mounted the Jericho Trumpets, wailing sirens, becoming the propoganda symbol of German airpower in the blitzkreig of 1939–1942
