Found on the western side of Big Round Top, just down Plum Run from the Devil‚Äôs Den, the John Slyder farm buildings became a Confederate field hospital after Confederate General John B. Hood‚Äôs Division swept across Slyder‚Äôs farm in its advance toward the Devil‚Äôs Den and Little Round Top.
