Sideshow and Iron Studios are proud to announce the latest from the Legacy Replica 1:4 line - Hellboy! This Hellboy Statue is limited edition and based on the references from Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
Over the base of The Troll Market, hidden from the world of men in the secret underground underneath the Brooklyn Bridge, a place filled with mythological, fantastic, and supernatural creatures from multiple cultures, the giant Agent Red relaxes, smoking his cigar after defeating the Troll called Mr. Wink, with the remaining of a mechanical arm released by his enemy, tied by a long chain to the feet of the demonic hero, next to other bizarre items and products from the magic bazar. With extra arms that allow you to display the hero ready to shoot with his huge six-round gun called Big Baby, or his oversized 22mm four-round revolver Good Samarita, and three interchangeable heads, one smoking his cigar, the other with sawed-off horns, and the last with full-grown horns, Iron Studios present their fantastic Hellboy - Hellboy 2 - Legacy Replica Quarter Scale Statue, the first realistic version produced by Iron Studios of the infernal hero created by Mike Mignola, inspired by the second movie of the original cinematographic adaptation.
At the end of World War II, villains built a dimensional portal to release monstrous creatures imprisoned in deep space. A team of ally soldiers led by Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, nicknamed Professor Broom, manages to stop them by destroying the portal, but in the few moments it remained opened, it brought up a peculiar child with the right hand made of stone. Rescued by the soldiers who called him Hellboy, he was adopted and raised as a son by Professor Broom, who created the B.P.R.D. (Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense) to secretly keep the world safe of supernatural threats. These days, Hellboy works in the B.P.R.D. alongside a task force composed of special individuals with enhanced abilities, and specially trained human agents, to face the threats of sinister hidden forces. In the sequel of Hellboy (2004), Hellboy II: The Golden Army, from 2008, once again directed by Guillermo del Toro and starred by Ron Pearlman, Agent Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. must stop the rebellious elf prince Nuada from waking up an unstoppable mechanical army that can be used to exterminate humanity and give back the world to magical creatures.
Reproducing down to the tiniest details all the elements of the character in his costume, with the overcoat made in fabric, and presenting a surprising realism to the face features of actor Ron Pearlman as the character.
