Chalcedony is the form of quartz that is compact and micro-crystalline. It occurs in many different forms, colors, and patterns, and many varieties have been used as gemstones since antiquity. Originally it was the gemstone of choice for January until Garnet replaced it later on. The Chalcedony Silver is a gentle purple with purple and white injected in a fine micro glitter and a silver ink. With silver ink that is easy to read it is a good set for being able to read for a long time.
