About the Mitsubishi Starion Gr. A 1985 INTER TEC
The Mitsubishi Starion was active in the INTER TEC held in Fuji Speedway in November 1985. The Mitsubishi Starion was tuned up based on the Starion GSR, a specialty coupé announced in 1982. The engine was inline 4 cylinder SOHC 1997cc turbo. The machine with front-engine and rear-wheel-drive was active in overseas Group A touring racing started from BTCC. The Starion returned in triumph finished in third in qualifying and forth in the final and showed the ability to put it at the top of the Japanese machines.
