The Jackson was one of the most numerous vehicles in service with the pre-war armies of mankind, and despite the appalling losses during the Scourge invasion it remains relatively plentiful today. It was primarily designed as an armoured troop transport although a plethora of variants are known to have existed. Its standard capacity of 10 men is somewhat lower than that of its modern equivalent although it features thicker and heavier armour. Indeed, despite being smaller than the UCM Bear APC it is actually a little heavier since the later makes extensive use of advanced composites. The MT-90 is normally armed with the short ranged but lethal ‘Deluge’ multi-grenade launcher system. Military versions usually employ high explosive rounds, although other variants used more exotic projectiles. In particular, the law enforcement version launched remote controlled Spider Drones into structures for wide surveillance patrols. Today, the Resistance has weaponised these harmless contraptions through the simple expedient of strapping plastic explosives to their underbellies.
