The Kings of Mercia have ever needed their Queens but none have proved to be as vital, as strong nor as beautiful than Meloda. From her humble beginnings as a smith's daughter Meloda has taken to her new way of life with a passion and an audacity that has surprised her husband almost as much as it has herself, for it was not asked for, certainly not so soon after producing the heirs that all monarchs demand. A warrior born, she has shown a stubbornness and a courage - along with a common touch that has been absent from the court for too many years - that have inspired her people as well as her King, and all Mercians are happier to know that the bastard strawhairs and the savages from the west and the north will be fought tooth and nail by armies led by Meloda and Penda both.

Meloda is a complex, multi-part resin miniature that is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It will require trimming and cleaning before assembly, priming and painting.
