TANIS is a competitive, 2-player game of exploration, deduction, and planning. TANIS features easy rules, fast play, and a unique experience that encourages players to play “just one more game.”
The game is played using a custom-made box filled with 40 wooden tiles. The tiles consist of 4 suits, numbered 1 to 10. The players try to collect sets of consecutively numbered tiles. The bigger the set, the bigger the score. The tiles are arranged so that removing a tile from the top level will reveal only partial information about the tiles below it. As more are removed, more details about the tiles below become available. The game ends when the last tile is removed from the box.
The game includes 2 special tools the players may use to remove the tiles from the box. In addition, an 8 God Tile mini-expansion is included, which provides a new way to play and score.
