Warlord is known as “the game you already know how to play” due to its use of a D20 and popular TTRPG mechanics. Players build their decks around a Warlord and starting army, commanding their forces in snappy back and forth turn actions using a D20 to resolve spells, attacks, and abilities.
Factions and Class
Each Warlord and Character in the game belongs to one of the six factions of the Accordlands, and every card has one or more of the four classes. Each faction and class is asymmetrical with unique mechanical leanings and strategies so that no two feel exactly alike.
Backwards Compatibility
Warlord has an existing card pool of over 4600 cards from previous publications. The multiplayer Alliance and non-rotating Ancients formats allow cards from throughout Warlord’s history while the rotating Saga and Draft formats feature new cards and reprints.
